What activities will I be able to participate in?

Our activities range from volunteering/ community service activities, hosting celebrations at Loong Kong, and
social activities like hiking, movie nights, etc.   Some of the activities include organizing and hosting the
annual LKTYA Mothers Day Dinner (May) and Fathers Day Dinner (June), Easter Egg Hunt (March/April) and
Anniversary Dinner (November).  We also volunteer at the Self-Help-for the Elderly Walk –A-Thon, Grace
Cathedral Food Bank, Miss Asian America Pageant, Chinatown Cleanup Day and Bay to Breakers race.
During Chinese New Year, the group performs at the annual Loong Kong Spring Banquet.    Our group
attends dinner banquets hosted by the San Francisco LKTYA, has movie nights, trips, camping, and other
fun activities.   LKYG activities are funded by the San Francisco Loong Kong Tien Yee Association. Check out
our Events page for upcoming events.

How often do members meet?

Meetings for members and officers are usually held once a month at the Youth Group headquarters. Our
website informs our members about meetings, upcoming events along with other pertinent information.
Some members who are unable to personally attend each meeting due to distance or time commitments
can depend upon the website for updates.
